Penny

2022 Wildie mare from the Osoyoos herd

Penny has only been around people for a few months, but she's quite trusting already. She has a few rides on her, walk/trot. She was very easy to start, no drama. 

 

Penny is very "energy conserving"- she does not like to run around in circles. She'll do it, but is always looking for the stop. As she's only 3 and still building relationship with me, I am not riding the canter yet. It will not be a problem.

I imagine she'll do best as a trail horse - or any other job with a purpose. 

She is not at all herd bound and seems to handle everything with a maturity beyond her years and experience! 
However, she is still very green and needs the continuing support of a competent rider.
